Jon has played professionally since the age of twelve. Beginning as a solo accordionist, he later played Hammond B3 organ in a number of important San Francisco bands. Today, Jon plays and tours extensively and has a large international following. Jon has also hosted a number of popular radio and TV shows. My girlfriend and I met him one rainy night just about here from where I took this photo. He was sitting in his Volvo SUV wagon with bike rack on the back. When we walked by the driver door with umbrella suddenly the door popped open and out jumped Robin - he said "Hey Kids! Be careful when you walk around here at night, the cars come around the corner fast!" He was still wearing the fatigues from his USO Tour - we talked for a long time standing in the rain there near China Beach and then he said good night and walked across the street and went in his house.
