Hammond Report November 5 2021 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond

Hammond Report November 5 2021 From Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from Jon Hammond, the organ player & accordionist - today's music story about playing opening gig for a place called Smalls Jazz Club in the Village right after I returned from a year in Paris in 1993 - I put a quintet together with Alex Foster Barry Finnerty Ray Grappone Chuggy Carter and yours truly Jon Hammond at the organ - here we are on that night playing a tune I had composed in Paris, Lydia's Tune from my first album. Today I had a beautiful lunch with Joe Berger, Joe's just back from Germany - and the Crystal Cruises Crystal Harmony is in port right now, welcome cruisers to big apple NYC - I was on that ship when it launched in 1995, it's got some serious nautical miles on it! Have a beautiful TGIF Weekend folks, I'll be back tomorrow - Jon Hammond
