Windstar's ships are officially motor-sail-yachts (msy). The vessels' unique rigging can be furled or unfurled in two minutes at the push of a button, all functions being operated from the bridge by computers and navigational devices. Two additional ships were ordered from Société Nouvelle des Ateliers et Chantiers du Havre; the Wind Surf and the Wind Saga.
