First time I played together with my friend Koei Tanaka in Hamamatsu at factory and world headquarters Suzuki Musical Instruments, special performance for president / founder Manji Suzuki and the entire Suzuki Team in Suzuki Hall - special thanks to my friend Tachi - Waichiro Tachikawa for inviting me and introducing me to Koei! We have played together many times since in 10 years, we opened the 2020 Winter NAMM Show with Koei on the band again, beautiful feeling and music! Everybody have a beautiful day, and an even better one tomorrow - we will overcome all the natural and 'un-natural' disasters folks! I'll be back tomorrow with another Hammond Report, Jon Hammond

It was broadcast on KUSP Pete Fallico's show, I'm playing Pete's B3 here in trio with James Preston drums and Barry Finnerty guitar, yours truly Jon Hammond at the Hammond B3. I was up late last night doing my long-time Cable TV show on Manhattan Neighborhood Network - MNNchannel 1, tune in any Friday night at 01:30AM or streaming worldwide from mnn dot org - I hope everybody's safe during this crazy time, keep masking up in this pandemic folks! Hammond Report August 21 2020 from Pandemic Quarantino Jon Hammond - Daily Music and Stories from organist and accordionist Jon Hammond, today's story about a very special gig we played in honor of Lutz Büchner in missing man formation, our dear friend Lutz played on this band for 20 years, long time member of NDR Bigband - saxophonist, clarinetist - we gathered once again to play in honor of Lutz with Frank Delle standing in for Lutz on tenor, very close friends with Lutz, best man at wedding, it was a bitter sweet night with Lutz' Family in the haus and many friends - quartet with Heinz Lichius drums, Joe Berger guitar, Frank Delle tenor and yours truly Jon Hammond at the organ in the Auster Bar in Eimsbüttel Hamburg. Thanks to the great photographers Mark Intelmann and Frank Siemers who covered us and everybody who came to the gig - stay safe out there everybody in these crazy dangerous and uncertain times! I'll be doing a daily Hammond Report as long as the pandemic is going on, have a beautiful weekend, Jon Hammond - Jon Hammond Band
