Jon hosted his annual Musikmesse Warm Up Party with very special guest TONY LAKATOS the Hungarian tenor saxophone star along with JOE BERGER guitar, HEINZ LICHIUS drums. and Jon Hammond on Hammond organ playing Jon's compositions "Lydia's Tune" and "Tribute to 9/11/Get Back In the Groove" and selections from Tony's new album "Gypsy Colours" on the Skip Records label: "Bebop Csardas" and "Troublant Bolero" and from Jon's new album NDR SESSIONS Projekt: "Payphone Johnny" Jon tells the story about meeting Tony Bennett of "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" fame" and told him: "Tony, I left my CAR in San Francisco!" he said, "I never heard that one before!"
