Wow, my lucky day - look what came in the mail!
Big Big thanks to the beautiful Journalist Ricky Richardson for writing us up in the August/September collector issue of
Big City Rhythm & Blues Magazine, yea'!! Ricky came to our showcase set at the return NAMM Show on the ADJ Lighting stage, and he covered the whole NAMM like a blanket! In the same article he covered the Swedish multi-instrumentalist super talented Gunhild Carling who blew everybody's mind by actually playing 3 trumpets simultaneously, no kidding! Big honor, thank you Ricky Richardson!!
This year we had a beautiful lineup on the Jon Hammond Funk Unit band: Chuggy Carter, Ronnie Smith, Joe Berger and yours truly Jon Hammond on the organ - I go way back with all these cats - we had a blast and the sound was beautiful, piped all the way around to the other side of the Anaheim Convention Center mixed by Tony Mirador and the Avante Audio / Akroz Professional LLC Team - stage / production manager Greg Herreman - stage managers Mark Magill aka "Stage Dad" and Ken Freeman - merci beaucoup - Jon Hammond / Jon Hammond Band
