With studio drummer Bernard Purdie in the house and quite a few other musicians from the Carroll rehearsal studios next door, you'll hear the end of originals "Head Phone" and long-time theme song "Late Rent" for the last time on this stage. p.s. the Rent got paid! Jon Hammond brought his band in to the SAVOY LOUNGE on 41st St. across from Port Authority Bus Terminal and next to Carroll Music Instrument Rental & Studios where all the cats rehearsed: On tenor sax Todd Anderson, Joris Dudli on drums, Barry Finnerty guitar and Jon Hammond at the B3 organ playing some of Jon Hammond's classic Funk Soul compositions 'Head Phone' and end of 'Nu Funk ('Hip Hop Chitlins').
